the first time i met you was on 18th December 1975 i was 15 years old and you guys were appearing and sheffield fiesta i was not old enough to see you so my sister wrote to the fiesta manager Bob Bacon to ask if we could come meet you all before the show to give you a birthday cake he said yes on that day we was so excited we met ou all in the dressing room before you went on stage and bob let us watch the show from the lighting box after the show you all recorded me a message which i still have
on another occasion when was 18 i went to see you again at the fiesta when you sang i wonder why you got down on your knees held my had and sang to me all through the song kissing my hand before getting back up i will never forget you and will always miss you
